I have known the Large family for the last 30 years, and have regularly used their services both at a commercial and private level. At all times I have found the service provided to be prompt, professional and of the highest quality. Woollam Constructions has been doing business with Large’s Furniture for over 40 years on many different construction projects throughout Central Queensland. We have engaged Large’s Furniture for a few jobs at our house over the past few years. The work included a large corner bookshelf, curtain pelmet, enhancements to our entertainment unit and most recently a refurbishment of our laundry area. All phases of these jobs were promptly and professionally managed. In the first instance staff listened to our ideas, offered professional advice and helped us achieve a tailored-made solution, exactly to our needs. I have been doing business with Large’s Furniture since the seventies. My husband and I owned Rockhampton Steam Laundry for 30 years and in that time John Large and his team have remodelled our lunch rooms and offices, and been involved with our 3 new houses and two renovations. Having great appreciation of the beauty of timber furniture I am very grateful for the craftsmanship of the team at Larges Furniture for the return of my family’s dining and lounge suites and piano to their former glory. Good morning Hannah I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my new benches. All the guys turned up on time, works were well co-ordinated, they were pleasant and personable, and left my kitchen probably cleaner than they found it. I really appreciate the care the guys removing the old bench took, in order to not damage the existing splashback. I had to leave the premises unexpectedly on the day of installation, and the Tops Elite guys were left to lock up on their way out, and again left the place spotless. Lachlan rescheduled the plumber on my behalf and came around that afternoon to replace the drawers that were too heavy for me, after Tops Elite advised him that (on my way out the door) I had said to ‘just leave them’. You have also been wonderful, on the paperwork side of things, responding promptly to my requests and queries, always pleasant, and with a ‘can do’ attitude. Despite Lachlan’s concerns about the timeframe, I understand that these are somewhat atypical times, with covid restrictions affecting transport and so many other things, and the timing of the actual installation co-ordinated perfectly with the other trades ( trust me, I feel like I have coordinated about 10 different trades through the premises since I began ‘accidental renovations’) I would like to thank everyone (and particularly Lachlan) involved in the evolution of what is now known as ‘Shaun’s all singing, all dancing, disco dream kitchen’ and will enthusiastically recommend Large’s, your quality, professionalism, and consultation to everyone. People are always ready to complain when they are not happy. I believe it is equally important to acknowledge a job well done, but most people aren’t as quick to do so.
